Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Spends 14th Week Atop Billboard 200
Taylor Swift becomes the first soloist and second act overall to spend 100 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, joining The Beatles in the exclusive club.

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a 14th nonconsecutive week, according to Billboard. The album earned 93,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending Oct. 8, down 46% from the prior week.
The latest week at the summit pushes Swift’s career total to 100 weeks at No. 1 across her 15 chart-topping albums, a milestone only The Beatles had previously reached. The Fab Four have logged 132 weeks at No. 1, while Elvis Presley ranks third among soloists with 67 weeks.
The album vaulted 21-1 a week ago after a deluxe edition arrived Sept. 25 with four previously unreleased songs, including the Billboard Hot 100-topping “Patient Zero.” In the latest tracking week, streaming equivalent album units accounted for 65,000 of the total, while album sales contributed 27,000 and track equivalent albums made up the remainder.
Swift is tied with Drake for the most No. 1 albums among soloists with 15 each. The Beatles lead all acts with 19 No. 1 albums.
Drake’s HABIBTI soars 116-2 on the new chart after an Oct. 2 reissue added four tracks under the expanded title HABIBTI (FOMO). The set earned 71,000 equivalent album units, up 506%, with nearly 70,000 from streaming activity.

The Beatles’ Rubber Soul re-enters at No. 4 following its deluxe reissue on Oct. 2, earning 58,000 equivalent album units and 50,000 in pure album sales. It marks the band’s highest rank on the chart since Revolver re-entered at No. 4 in November 2022.
Mac Miller’s The Divine Feminine returns to the top 10 at No. 10, vaulting 159-10 after a 10th anniversary reissue with three additional tracks. The album earned 32,000 equivalent album units, up 218%, and previously peaked at No. 2 in 2016.
The current top 10 marks the first time Swift, Drake and The Beatles have shared space in the top five, or even the top 10, on the same Billboard 200 chart. The three acts hold the highest career totals of No. 1 albums: The Beatles with 19, and Swift and Drake tied at 15.
The new Oct. 17, 2026-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard’s website on Oct. 13.
