Editorial Standards

    Accuracy

Factual claims must be supported by identifiable sources. Stories show their source lists. Where reporting is developing or sources conflict, we describe that uncertainty.

    Editorial accountability

Publication and approval actions are recorded to newsroom staff. Stories may also name the editor publicly responsible for the work and link to that editor's profile.

    Technology and automation

Our newsroom uses software for monitoring, research, organization and drafting. It is a tool, not an author. Editorial judgment and responsibility for publication rest with our editors, and relevant system contributions are disclosed in story credits.

    Corrections

We correct substantive errors visibly. Corrections are noted on the article, recorded in its public version history and listed on our corrections page. Substantive changes to published articles carry a public change note.

    Attribution and independence

When another outlet breaks a story, we credit and link it. Coverage decisions are made by our editors. iFANN News does not accept payment for coverage, and coverage of iFANN products or events is labeled.
