Slayyyter is not finished with the world of “Wor$t Girl in America.” On Monday, October 5, the pop provocateur announced “Wor$t Man in America,” a nine-track “brother” album to her breakout third studio album, slated for release on December 4 via RECORDS/Columbia Records, according to Billboard and Rolling Stone.

The project is framed as an inverse counterpart to “Wor$t Girl in America,” revisiting its sounds, themes, and ideas from a different perspective. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Slayyyter explained the impulse behind the record: “I want to live here for a little longer, so I’m kind of making an inverse album, if you will. I just want the core of everything to feel like me, because it finally feels that.”

Two songs from the forthcoming set have already been released: “Brand New Chanel$,” which gave Slayyyter her first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Crank 2,” a sequel of sorts to her breakout song “Crank.” Both offer fresh takes on tracks from “Wor$t Girl in America,” with “Brand New Chanel$” riffing on “Beat Up Chanel$” and “Crank 2” reimagining “Crank,” according to Billboard, Consequence, and Pitchfork.

The announcement follows a busy year for the artist. Slayyyter released “Wor$t Girl in America” in March, and the record topped Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart. She recently closed out the North American leg of her “Wor$t Girl in the World” tour at the Brooklyn Paramount in New York, where she performed unreleased tracks from the upcoming album, including “Nekromantik!,” “I Think He’s Got a Girl,” and “Hymn,” according to Billboard.

The confirmed tracklist for “Wor$t Man in America” is: “brand new chanel$,” “crank 2,” “$$$,” “nekromantik!,” “i think he’s got a girl,” “hey boyyy,” “parking lot,” “perfect woman,” and “hymn,” according to Pop Crave, Billboard, Consequence, and Stereogum.

Slayyyter has been teasing the project since the launch of her tour in July, when she debuted “Brand New Chanel$,” “Nekromantik!,” and “I Think He’s Got a Girl” at the opening night in Missouri, according to Billboard. The singer has also received co-signs from major artists; in September, Lady Gaga used Slayyyter’s “I’M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS” in a TikTok, prompting Slayyyter to respond with “I LOVE GAGA” on her Instagram Story.
