Blair's next court appearance on the assault charges is scheduled for January 19, 2027, according to ABC News. Two Delta Air Lines flight attendants were injured Sunday night after actress Selma Blair allegedly became physically abusive aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New York, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Blair, 54, was arrested after the aircraft parked at the gate at John F. Kennedy International Airport around 11 p.m., the Port Authority said.

One flight attendant was taken to a hospital for evaluation, and Blair herself was transported to a hospital before being taken into custody, officials said. The actress was arraigned Monday evening in Queens Criminal Court on two counts of second-degree assault, according to court records obtained by USA TODAY. A judge set bail at $20,000 cash, $60,000 bond, or $60,000 partially secured bond, ABC News reported.

A criminal complaint obtained by ABC News alleges that Blair repeatedly kicked Port Authority Police Officer Maria Suarez in the face, neck, and chest while the officer was helping transport her from the airport to an ambulance. The complaint also alleges Blair kicked registered nurse Ashley DeLeo in the chest at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The FBI and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident, which is standard for assaults aboard aircraft.

Delta said in a statement to ABC News that the flight arrived ahead of schedule and that law enforcement met the plane when it landed. Blair's representative, Jill Fritzo, told USA TODAY that the actress "experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct" and is in stable condition. According to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, paramedics were called for one flight attendant and one passenger with injuries including a bloody nose and bite marks.

The pilot reported that Blair had "bashed her head off of the bulkhead," according to audio published by The Hollywood Reporter. Blair has a prior in-flight incident from June 2016, when she was removed from a plane on a stretcher after mixing alcohol with medication. She later apologized, saying she had blacked out.

She also faces a federal summons for assaults within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, answerable to the petty violations court in Brooklyn.
