Olivia Rodrigo Opens Unraveled Tour in Hartford With 'Drop Dead'

The wardrobe malfunction didn't stop the show, but it became one of the defining images from the opening night of the Unraveled Tour, which kicked off Friday at Hartford's PeoplesBank Arena, formerly the XL Center. The tour is Rodrigo's third overall and second arena run, supporting an album that arrived nearly four months ago. Billboard reported that the setlist included nearly the entire new record, plus songs from 'GUTS' and 'SOUR,' performed on a stage decorated with wildflowers.

Pop Base posted the full setlist, which included 'good 4 u,' 'deja vu' as an interlude, 'serena joy,' 'bad idea right,' 'ballad of a homeschooled girl,' 'vampire,' 'purple,' 'stupid song,' 'maggots for brains,' 'traitor,' 'begged,' and 'cigarette smoke.' Billboard noted one notable absence: 'What's Wrong With Me,' a track the publication called 'one of the album's highest points,' was left off the opening night setlist, likely because it features Robert Smith. Additional dates were later added in Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Barcelona due to demand, according to Wikipedia.

The full run now comprises 86 shows across North America and Europe and is scheduled to conclude on May 10, 2027, at the O2 Arena in London. Supporting acts include Wolf Alice, Devon Again, the Last Dinner Party, Grace Ives, and Die Spitz. Rodrigo continued her Silver Star Tickets program for this tour, offering a limited number of $20 tickets per show, available only in pairs, a continuation of an initiative she began on the Guts World Tour.

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit her Fund 4 Good initiative, which supports community-based nonprofits working for women and girls. The opening night also marked Rodrigo's return to the stage after her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival in Southern California, which she founded and headlined. That festival raised $10 million for 10 organizations supporting women and girls, with Melinda French Gates matching the amount to bring the total to $20 million.
