Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky welcome first child, Page Six reports

Lady Gaga's long-stated wish to become a mother has been fulfilled, according to multiple reports that she and fiancé Michael Polansky welcomed their first child. Neither Gaga nor Polansky has commented publicly, and representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment from E! News, The Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard. The baby's name, sex, and exact date of birth have not been disclosed.

Gaga and Polansky, an entrepreneur and former CEO of the Parker Group, announced their engagement in 2024. "What I really want is to be a mom. That's my next starring role, I hope," Gaga said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in October 2025, according to The Hollywood Reporter and E! News. She also told Good Morning America in March 2025 that she wanted "marriage and kids more than anything," and that Polansky, 42, shared that desire.

"That's something Michael and I have talked about a lot—allowing our kids to be their own people," Gaga told Elle in January 2025, according to E! News. She added, "I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are." Page Six reported that she was seen in public only twice this summer, and her social media activity slowed to promotional posts every few weeks.

A source told People that the couple "both took time off of work this summer to be with" their new baby, and that Polansky "seems lighter, happier." Her album Mayhem won a Grammy, and the Mayhem Ball tour grossed $419.5 million and sold just under two million tickets across 12 months and five continents, according to Billboard Boxscore via NME. The tour ended on April 13.

Gaga and Polansky first met at a birthday party for Napster cofounder Sean Parker in 2019. They were photographed kissing on New Year's Day 2020, and Gaga made the relationship Instagram official that February with a photo from the Super Bowl. The couple got engaged in April 2024, but kept the news private until Gaga referred to Polansky as her "fiancé" during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics that summer.

While the couple has not shared further details, the image of the new family in California has been widely circulated by entertainment media. For now, the child's name and birth date remain unknown to the public.
